Pairere Curves Realignment Client: Transit New Zealand Scale: $2.7M Principle earthworks subcontractor to Transfield Services: involved bulk cut to structural fill, cut to waste of 300,000m³ ryolite, ash and pumice type material. Schick engaged C&R Developments to cut the R2 rock approximately 80,000m³. Work also included bulk topsoil striping & regrassing, sediment control and silt pond construction. We demonstrated ability to complete bulk earthworks to a high standard in a limited time frame. Worked within resource consent with weekly inspections from Environment Waikato. |

Avalon Drive Bypass Client: Transit New Zealand Scale: $3.8M Primary earthworks subcontractor to Brian Perry Civil: construction of 3km of SH1 through residential and industrial land (green fields) including underpasses, bridges earthworks and pavement. Performed 175,000m³ of earthworks including bulk cut to structural fill 40,000m³, cut to landscape fill 30,000m³, and cut to waste trucked off site 100,000m³, imported pit sand fill 24,000m³. Works also included importing 15,000m³ topsoil and grassing over 30,000m². Worked in with multiple stakeholders. |

400kV line + Wairaki to Artimuri Line Client: Transpower Alliance Scale: $12M + $5M Contracted to Transpower Alliance for the access roads & foundation platform construction, stringing access & stringing platforms for the Whakamaru to Brownhill 400kV pylon line. Works involved construction of 200 access tracks & building platforms across farm & forestry land including bulk earthworks, drainage, pavement construction, sediment & erosion controls, fencing, traffic management, quality assurance testing, site set out and as-builts. |

Raglan Waste Water Treatment Plant Client: Waikato District Council Scale: $1.7M Bulk earthworks contract to form new ponds for waste water treatment plant at Raglan. Included 150,000m³ cut to fill & cut to waste to form 3 main ponds and 2 smaller ponds. Significant sediment & erosion controls. 6,000m² concrete wave protection. Haul road construction. Works required drying of wet ash material and significant cut to waste of very wet ash. |
