The project involved working in and around sensitive coastal and river environments requiring detailed methodology and planning to achieve positive outcomes with no environmental impacts. Schick was required to source, supply and install all materials required to complete the upgrades at;
Taupiri - clearing and earthwork, boat ramp construction - PVC sheet pile, basecourse and reinforced concrete
Raglan Sea Wall - timber pole wall including lagging, drainage, geotextile, backfill, precast panel concrete slabs
Puriri Park - grouted boulder wall (330 boulders were sourced and installed), and ramp protection, filter material, geotextile and drains
Te Akau - clearing and earthworks, grouted boulder wall and ramp protection
Manu Bay - grouted boulder wall and ramp protection
