Supporting future generations #schickyeah
As a part of the Schick vision of “supporting future generations”, we are proud to sponsor a range of athletes who are striving to achieve excellence in their chosen sport.
One of these talented athletes is Logan Ferguson. Logan is an up and coming sprint kayaker, who recently represented New Zealand at the Asia Pacific Sprint Cup in Japan. After a week of acclimatising to the hot weather in Japan, Logan had a very successful campaign, earning a bronze medal in the U18 K4 500m event, as well as making the A final in both the U18 K1 1000m and K2 500m events. These are all outstanding results for the 16 year old!
This was Logan’s first experience representing New Zealand and racing at an international regatta, which was an invaluable opportunity for him to compete against other high caliber paddlers from around the world.
The Schick team is proud to have been able to support Logan’s journey to Japan and we are excited to follow his kayaking career for years to come.
At the recent Blue Lakes Regatta in Rotorua, Logan came 2nd in the U18 K1 500m, qualifying him for the 2023 Asia Pacific Sprint Cup, to be held at Lake Karapiro in April. Congrats Logan!
