Residential subdivision for 129 lots off Sylvester Road, North Hamilton. Works involved 100,000m³ cut to fill, storm water up to 1200mm diameter, sewer up to 7m deep, water (250mm diameter) and services, 12,000m² pavement construction, footpaths & berms, construction of a permanent storm water pond, significant environmental compliance measures.

Client: Chedworth Properties            Scale: $3.75M

Responsible for earthworks and siteworks (pavement, footpath, grassing etc) in line with the drainage contractor. Works included temporary and permanent SW detention ponds, cobble, asphalt concrete pavements as well as section contouring and grassing. Worked closely with Waikato Regional Council and other contractors on site to ensure work progress was maintained across all seasons.

Construction of a 49 lot residential subdivision including bulk earthworks in excess of 50 - 60,000m³, sewer, storm water, water, power & telecom services, pavement construction, landscaping, silt, sediment & environmental controls, council sign off & QA compliance. Stage 1 & 2 Civil Works involving construction of all drainage & water services, irrigation, roading and hard landscaping. Completed to programme in difficult winter conditions.

Client: Arrow International                Scale: $4M

This was a senior living apartment complex next to Te Rapa race course including 100 one, two & three bedroom units and a multi story apartment block. We carried out all civil works including bulk earthworks, building platform construction, drainage and roading construction. Schick won the first two stages in open tender and negotiated the remaining stages directly with Arrow and Vision Senior Living.
