Lake Road - 4 Laning Client: Rotorua District Council Scale: $2.5M Installed customised manholes weighing over 30 tonne. 3.8km of stormwater from 300mm to 1350mm diameter pipes and 1000mm x 650mm up to 2500mm x 1000mm box culverts. Installed at depths up to 4.0m and below the water table. Conditions were difficult with high water tables, hot ground conditions, gas issues, multiple service clashes and high volumes of traffic and pedestrians as well as the need to maintain access.
