Earthworks and drainage for Stage 1A building works. Bulk excavation (20,000m³) of basement carpark below building. Installation of sub-surface drainage below building car park. Backfilling of perimeter walls, excavation and backfilling of access ramps. Removal of asbestos contaminated soil, testing and removal of areas suspected of containing asbestos. Testing and removal of oil contaminated soil. High level of traffic management required due to live traffic situations.
|Silver Fern Farms - Project Paragon
Client: Ebert Construction Ltd Scale: $1.7M
We were engaged to carry out siteworks and drainage in and around the new and existing building works following extensive fire damage to the existing plant. Workspace was at times very restrictive and working with other subcontractors in these areas proved a challenge. All works were complete with minimal disruption. Additional work to landscape the site (approx. $350K) was negotiated at completion of the main works.
|Waikato Hospital Siteworks + Landscaping (2008 - 2010)
Client: Fletcher Building & Waikato DHB Scale: $2.3M
Excavation and construction of roading, kerbing footpaths and pavements. Construction of retaining walls, timber and concrete 25 - 40m long, piping and guardrails. Concrete piles with structural guardrails on top. Black honed feature walls with cantilever timber slat seats. Feature paver bands and 2,000m² of concrete finishes. Bollards with timber slats, landscape planting trees and shrubs, lighting, irrigation system, strip drains, water feature wall, pump systems and bus shelters. Works completed to project programme.
|Summerset Retirement Village
Client: Summerset Retirement Villages NZ Scale: $3M+
Civil works carried out for the construction of roading, drainage, earthworks and building platforms for a 50 unit retirement village including community facilities and landscaping. Works were completed in stages over a 3 year period and constructed to the highest finishing standards.
